4. Two numbers differ by 3. The sum of thrice the greater number and twice the smaller number is 19. Find those numbers.

6. Solve: 4m − 2n = − 4; 4m + 3n = 16
7. The length of a rectangle is 5 more than twice its breadth. Find the length of that rectangle if its perimeter is 52 cm.
8. The graphs of 2x − y − 4 = 0 and x + y + 1 = 0 intersect in point P(a, b). Find the coordinates of point P.
9. If (2, − 3) is the solution of the equations ax + by + 5 = 0 and bx − ay − 12 = 0, then find the values of a and b.
10. A person starts a job with a certain starting salary and a fixed increment every year. If the total salary after 4 years is ₹ 15,000/- and if it becomes ₹ 18,000/- after 10 years, find the starting salary and yearly increment.
